KABUL annually and will sell it in Indian markets under Afghanistan trademark, a statement said on Wednesday.
An agreement in this regard was inked between Abdul Nafi Sarwari, Afghanistan Commercial Attaché and a representative of All India Hing Supply Company in Mumbai.
Naseem Sharifi, the Consul General of Afghanistan in Mumbai, was present on the occasion.
Currently Afghanistan exports hing worth $100 million to India every year, of which 70 percent is consumed in South India and Mumbai.
It is worth mentioning that Afghanistan hing exports to India have increased by 25 percent during the last two years.
Hing is a herbal product used as spice ingredient in making natural medicines called unani and is good for stomach pain and digestion.
