LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Like the people of other provinces, residents and the People Peace Movement members on Sunday staged a protest demonstration against the government’s and the Taliban’s spring offensives in southern Helmand province.
The two warring sides – the government and the Taliban – have recently announced their spring offensives --- Khalid and Al Fatah respectively.
The residents and peace activists demonstrated in Lashkargah, the provincial capital, and demanded the warring sides cease their offensives.
