<p>GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): A detained man has confessed to killing three policemen including an officer in return for only 2,000 Pakistani rupees in southern Ghazni province, an official said Sunday.</p>
<p>Mohammad Arif Noori, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that National Directorate of Security (<a href="/en/nds" class="glossify-link">NDS</a>) personnel arrested the alleged killer of three policemen from Mahajir Township late Saturday night.</p>
<p>He identified the detainee as Mohammad Khalid, a resident of Chak district, who was living in the Mahajir Township in Ghazni city, the provincial capital.</p>
<p>Noori said Khalid killed police officer Shahpoor Bakhtiar in the township a week back. Khalid confessed to his crimes and acknowledged he had previously killed two other policemen in the past.</p>
<p>He told his interrogators he received 500 rupees each for the two previous murders from his <a href="/en/taliban" class="glossify-link">Taliban</a> commander who gave him 1000 rupees for killing the police officer.</p>
