GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Nine Taliban have been killed and 10 captive persons released from their jail in southern Ghazni province during Special Forces raid, but the Taliban rejected the claim, an official said on Monday.
Governor spokesman Mohammad Arif Noori told Pajhwok Afghan News security forces conducted raid on Sunday night in the Lalize, Fathullah and Wali Kala areas of Qarabagh district.
During the raid security forces stormed the Taliban prison and freed 10 prisoners. Five Taliban were also arrested.
