HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): More than 30 individuals have been arrested over the past 10 days for involvement in criminal activities in western Herat province, an official said on Monday.
Jilani Farhad, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the intelligence personnel held the suspects for subversive activities, target killings, kidnappings, murder, corruption and other crimes.
Ten of the detainees were involved in organised crime, robberies and suicide bombings. Jilani Farhad said, adding a number of weapons and ammunition were also seized, he said.
