Afghanistan may stun some rivals in World Cup

Afghanistan’s spin attack could help turn the tables on their opponents at the mega event, Lalchand Rajput was quoted as saying by an Indian news agency.

He opined Afghanistan’s batting would be a little bit on the slower side, as playing in England would difficult, The batsmen would need to adjust, he explained.

Rajpit added the Afghans could upset some of the bigger teams on a day where the ball gripped. To him, the main game-changer is Mohammad Shahzad.

If Shahzad goy going in the first half an hour or 45 minutes and managed to score quick runs, he could really change the game, he continued.

Rashid Khan will be an important cog in Afghanistan’s the wheel and Rajput, who has seen the leg-spinner from close quarters, dubbed him as a “match-winner”.
