Kidnapped 8-year-old boy found dead in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): An eight-year-old boy identified as Naqibullah was found dead in capital Kabul on Saturday after being kidnapped by unidentified people three days ago.

A relative of the victim, Mujibullah Rashidi, talking to Pajhwok Afghan News, said, “Naqibullah was my cousin, he was kidnapped three days ago and we found his dead body today.”He said the kidnappers had made no demand.

Kabul police spokesman Basir Mujahid said the incident was under investigation by detective police forces.

“Incidents like this are intolerable and have no place in our culture,” he said.

About a month ago, a six-year-old girl was kidnapped and killed in Kabul. Police had detained two suspects in connection with that incident.
