KABUL (Pajhwok): Two Romanian military, who were injured after their car overturned in southern Kandahar province on Monday, were stable now, the country’s Defense Ministry said.
The two military men from the “St. Andrei” Force Protection Battalion 300 were conducting a patrol mission inside the Air Base in Kandahar.
During the mission, the MRAP fight vehicle overturned. The causes of the accident were under investigation by a committee set up in the mission, the ministry informed.
Corporal Laurentiu Bogatu and PFC Ionut Burlacu were given the first aid and were sent to the ROL III Military Hospital inside the Air Base in Kandahar.
Their condition is stable, with corporal Bogatu being already discharged. He will remain under medical surveillance at the Romanian camp.
