KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): The Afghan National Army (ANA) on Saturday said its Special Forces had freed 10 civilians from a Taliban-run prison in northern Kunduz province.
A statement from the 217th Pamir Military Corps said that ANA Special Forces conducted a raid on the Taliban jail in the Aq Sari village of Chardarah district late on Friday night.
It added 10 civilians were released during the nighttime operation.
