SAR-I-PUL (Pajhwok): A 20-year-old man has shot dead his mother in the capital of northern Sar-i-Pul province, an official said on Sunday.
Police spokesman Noor Agha Faizi told Pajhwok Afghan News Yar Mohammad killed his mother before escaping his house in Tawhidabad locality on Saturday morning.
He linked the incident happened to a family issue, saying police had arrested the accused.
