Indian reaffirms support to Afghan owned, controlled peace process

KABUL Vinay Kumar on Thursday called on National Security Advisor Hamdullah Mohib and reaffirmed his country support to Afghan peace process.

During the meeting Indian envoy rejected recent media reports which reflected upon change in Indian policy regarding Afghan peace process.

“Amb Kumar reaffirmed India's support for an Afghan-led, Afghan-owned & Afghan-Controlled peace process leading to stability. He said recent media reports don't reflect official view of the Government,” the National Security Council said in a tweet.
