2 killed as drone hits NGO office in Farah

FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): Two people were killed in a drone strike on an NGO Office in the Shebkoh district of western Farah province, head of the aid providing NGO said on Friday.

Malak Afghan Wakeli, head of the CHA, told Pajhwok Afghan News their office was attacked by an unmanned aircraft on Thursday night.

“Our office completely destroyed with all equipment and two employees have been killed,” he said.

Security officials could not be reached for comments over the drone strike.

A spokesperson for US force in Afghanistan fighters were present. This was a known Taliban facility. There were no civilians observed in the area prior to the strike.
