JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Three people were wounded when a magnetic bomb affixed to a provincial council member’s vehicle went off in eastern Nangarhar province on Saturday morning, an official said.
Police spokesman Farid Khan told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast happened in the Talashi square of Jalalabad city, the provincial capital, at around 9:30am
He said the sticky bomb was attached to Qahar Qadir’s vehicle but he was not in the vehicle.
Three people were slightly injured the blast and shifted to hospital, Farid Khan said.
Meanwhile, Gulzadah Sangar, Nangarhar zonal hospital spokesman, told Pajhwok that they had received three injured people from the scene. He said the injured were in stable condition and were under treatment.
