President Ghani performs Umrah, prays for Afghans prosperity

KABUL, the Presidential Palace said on Friday.

President Ghani and members of his delegation performed the lesser Hajj in Baitullah Sharif after they arrived in Saudi Arabia to attend the 14th summit of the Islamic Organization of Cooperation (OIC) in Makkah.

The president offered Nawafil and Esha prayers at Masjid Al Haram and prayed for peace and stability in his country. He also prayed for the departed souls of Afghan security forces in recent incidents and for the unity of Afghans and the Muslim Ummah.
