GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): At least seven policemen have been killed and eight others wounded in a car bombing in southern Ghazni province, an official said on Sunday.
An explosives-laden Humvee targeted the reserve police unit at around 10pm on Saturday night in Ghazni City, the provincial capital.
Naseer Ahmad Faqiri, the provincial council chairman, told Pajhwok Afghan News seven policemen were killed and eight others wounded in the overnight bombing.
A security source, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the bomber initially exchanged fire with policemen at the entrance to the unit . . .
