Mohib calls on Taliban to join intra-Afghan talks

KABUL to join intra-Afghan talks as all sides, including the Taliban, have been tired of the conflict.

In his Eid message, Mohib said last year President Ashraf Ghani announced a three-day ceasefire which was reciprocated by the Taliban. It showed that everyone was tired of the conflict and unearthed massive demand for peace and stability in the country.

Mohib slammed the Taliban for ignoring continued calls for negotiation and ceasefire from the Afghan government and made it clear that the Taliban were not independent in their decision making.

He assured the people of Afghanistan threats.
