ZARANJ (Pajhwok): A woman has been murdered mysteriously in Zaranj, the capital southwestern Nimroz province, security officials said on Thursday.
Col. Mohammad Sadiq Hashemi, Criminal Investigation Department head, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident took place in Zaranj last night.
He said a person Mohammad, his wife and their two children were displaced to Zaranj City four days ago and last night someone attacked their home at 12am and used an iron to smash the woman, killing her.
Mohammad, who was also injured in the incident, is currently hospitalized in Zaranj Hospital . . .
