GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Another ancient castle tower has crumbled following heavy rains in southern Ghazni province, an official said on Wednesday.
Information and Culture Department head Bashir Mohammadi told Pajhwok Afghan News the Bala-i-Hesar tower had damaged in the past but recent heavy rains caused it to fall down on Tuesday.
He said in the past, three walls and two other towers of the Hesar (fort) had also destroyed.
Mohammadi said reconstruction works on these towers and walls had been completed in 2013 . . .
