38 militants killed in security forces operations nation-wide

KABUL (Pajhwok): Thirty-eight militants have been killed in separate operations country-wide in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said on Friday.

Security forces had conducted nine joint offensives and clearing operations, 78 special commando assignments and 30 airstrikes amid at eradicating insurgents’ hideouts and security threats.

Air Forces had conducted 124 air flights in support of security forces, according to MoD statement.

Militants had been inflicted casualties in Paktia, Kandahar, Ghor, Ghazni, Nangarhar and Zabul provinces. Weapons, explosives and motorcycles are recovered during the raids.
