<p><a href="/en/afganistan/kabul" class="glossify-link">KABUL</a> and Religious Affairs (MoHR) on Sunday said the cost of performing hajj would be $2750 per pilgrim in 2019.</p>
<p>Thousands of people would be sent to Saudi Arabia from <a href="/en/afghanistan" class="glossify-link">Afghanistan</a> for the performance of hajj this year.</p>
<p>A statement from MoHRA media’s office received by Pajhwok Afghan News said the hajj expenses for a single performer would be $2,750 compared to last year’s $2,600, showing a six percent increase.</p>
<p>The statement further said all hajj costs would be covered in the mentioned amount as last year only food cost of the pilgrims was covered.</p>
<p>The MoHRA informed intending pilgrims that the second process of the payment would be started tomorrow (Monday) in capital Kabul and provinces.</p>
