LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Nearly half of schools in southern Helmand province have no buildings and 76 others have been closed, the education director and residents said on Saturday.
Farid Ahmad, a student of the Khwaja Baba high school in Nawa district, told Pajhwok Afghan News they have been attending classes under tents.
He said, “Our school lacks building and in a very hot weather we are studying under tent, thus no one could learn their lessons well.”
