MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): Civil society activists and residents said on Tuesday like some other provinces, the ongoing voter registration process has been sluggish in northern Balkh province as well.
Around 6,000 people have so far registered as voters in Balkh province for the upcoming presidential election.
However, the Independent Election Commission (IEC) regional office in Balkh termed people’s participation in the voter registration process as ‘somehow good’.
