Over 60 militants killed, wounded nation-wide: MoD

KABUL have claimed inflicting casualties on each side in the past 24 hours in different parts of the country.

A statement from MoD claimed 37 Taliban were killed and injured and scores injured and 13 offensives and clearing operation had been conducted.

The operations were conducted in Takhar, Paktia, Helmand, Faryab, Herat, Uruzgan, Farah, Balkh, Baghlan, Ghazni, Kunar, Nimroz and Badakhshan provinces with the support from air forces and Resolute Support  mission.

Three militants had been capture, 44 landmines, a motorcycle, 500 kilograms of drugs and an explosive-laden vehicle recovered during the operations, the statement said.

But Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed 126 security personnel were killed and over 60 injured in their attacks in 19 provinces over the past 24 hours.
