KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Intelligence agents arrested a group of 40 Taliban militants in southern Kandahar province and paraded them in front of media representatives on Saturday.
Governor Hayatullah Hayat told a press conference here that the National Directorate of security (NDS) personnel detained the militants in Kandahar City and districts.
He said the detainees were involved in conducting terrorist and destructive activities across the province and had confessed to their crimes.
