SAR-I-PUL (Pajhwok): A number of people who have been running footwear factories for about two decades in northern Sar-i-Pul province say their business has stagnated due to people’s poor economic condition and import of shoes from China.
These people run their show making factories in the provincial capital Sar-i-Pul and import raw materials from Pakistan and animal skin from Faryab province. They say their products are sold in the capital and districts of Sar-i-Pul province.
