HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Fifteen security forces were killed and 10 others wounded after a large number of Taliban gunmen attacked their posts in western Herat province, an official said Saturday.
The government official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, told Pajhwok Afghan News that more than 150 militants stormed security check-posts in Tagab area of Karukh district on Friday night.
He said 15 security personnel, including national, local and public order police and uprising members were killed and 10 others wounded during the overnight coordinated . . .
