3 rockets land in Panjsher, causing no casualties

CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): Three rockets have landed close to the governor house in central Panjsher province, an official said on Saturday.

Police chief Mohammad Ishaq Tamkin told Pajhwok Afghan News the rockets fell a kilometer from the governor’s house on Friday night but caused no casualties.

Without going into details, Tamkin said the militants entered Panjsher from neighbouring provinces and conducted the rocket attack.

Saifuddin Hasari, a resident of Panjsher, expressed concern over the incident and urged the government to deal with insecurity in the province.
