GARDEZ (Pajhwok): A local radio journalist has been mysteriously killed in southeastern Paktia province, officials said on Saturday.
Aminullah Amiri, the Gardez Ghag Radio Director, told Pajhwok Afghan News that journalist Nadir Shah Sahibzadah went missing on Friday and his body was found in Aryan station area near his home in Gardez city, the provincial capital, on Saturday morning.
He said family of Sahibzadah had no personal enmity and had no received no threat from any group.
Police spokesman Sardar Wali Tabasum also confirmed the incident and Sahibzadah had been stabbed multiple times before his body thrown to a well.
He said an investigation team was in the area and had started investigation into the murder. Further information about the case would be shared with media later, the police official said.
