Turkey condemns attack on university in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): Turkey has vehemently condemned a deadly terrorist attack on a university in the heart of Kabul.

At least eight people were killed and 33 others wounded in the assault, a Public Health Ministry official said a day earlier.

“We received the news with sorrow that a terror attack which took place at the Kabul University resulted in the loss of lives,” the Foreign Ministry in Ankara said.

In a statement, the ministry condemned the attack targeting an educational institution. “We wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives,,,”

The ministry wished speedy recovery to the wounded and conveyed condolences to the Afghan people and government.
