ZARANJ (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have shot dead deputy head of the Attorney General Office (AGO) internal and external security on Monday afternoon in southwestern Nimroz province, an official said.
Crime Branch Chief Col. Mohammad Sadiq Hashami told Pajhwok Afghan News that Hikmatullah, AGO’s internal and external security in charge, was shot dead by unknown armed men in the Cinema Square in Zaranj City, the provincial capital.
He said the assailants were on motorcycle and escaped from the scene after spraying bullets on Hikmatullah.
