KABUL (Pajhwok): Three civilians were killed and 15 others wounded as a result of car bombing in Kabul on Thursday.

Eyewitness Ghulam Mohiuddin told Pajhwok Afghan News the bomb ripped through a Land Crusier jeep carrying foreigners in 9^th police district

He said nearby homes were also damaged in the powerful explosion. This Pajhwok reporter saw two Land Cruiser vehicles damaged in the attack.

Security forces cordoned of the area and nobody was allowed to enter.

Taliban claimed responsibility for the bombing in Dispachari area.

The group’s spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said the fighters carried out the car-bomb attack on foreign officials. He said nine foreigners were killed and two vehicles damaged.
