PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): Two workers of the Ghori Cement Factory were injured on Saturday in a blast in northern Baghlan province, an official said.
The factory workers were on strike against delay in payment of salaries, one of the protestors told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Faiz Mohammad said the factory management had created problems to them in payment of monthly salaries, which were never released in time.
“Today, we were striking against the delay in our salaries when the blast occurred and two of our colleagues were wounded,” he said.
