<p><a href="/en/afganistan/kabul" class="glossify-link">KABUL</a>’s shadow governor for western Farah province has been killed in an airstrike, the government claimed on Saturday.</p>
<p>The Ministry of Defence said in a statement the Afghan Air Forces carried out the air raid in Khak-i-Safid district at 8:10pm on Friday.</p>
<p>The airstrike killed shadow governor <a href="/en/mullah" class="glossify-link">Mullah</a> Sayed and Mullah Sadiq.</p>
<p>The Taliban have not yet commented on the airstrike.</p>
