Taliban’s governor for Farah killed, claims MoD

KABUL’s shadow governor for western Farah province has been killed in an airstrike, the government claimed on Saturday.

The Ministry of Defence said in a statement the Afghan Air Forces carried out the air raid in Khak-i-Safid district at 8:10pm on Friday.

The airstrike killed shadow governor Mullah Sayed and Mullah Sadiq.

The Taliban have not yet commented on the airstrike.
