KABUL (Pajhwok): Tens of agricultural products and handicrafts have been put on display at an exhibition that kicked off in capital Kabul on Tuesday.
The three-day exhibition has been orgnaised by the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock to celebrate the country’s 100th independence day in the Badam Bagh garden of Kabul.
Different types of dried fruits, handicrafts, agricultural products, technology related materials and other things have been on the display.
Hashmatullah Ghafoori, secretary irrigation and natural resources, said it was the 23rd summer exhibition organized to explore markets and introduce agriculture products to the world.
“Short and long-term programmes have been planned and we strive to push the agriculture sector towards self-reliance,” he said.
Khumari, a young girl from Bamyan, who has displayed dairy products at a stall, expressed her delight over the exhibition’s orgnaisation.
