GARDEZ (Pajhwok): Taliban militants abducted and killed seven Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers on the Gardez-Pattan highway in southeastern Paktia province, a public representative and residents said on Wednesday.
Abdul Malik Zazai, the provincial council chairman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the ANA soldiers who were severing in Ahmadkhel district were travelling to Gardez City, the provincial capital, to receive their salaries.
But Taliban militants intercepted their vehicle in Karkin area of the Mirzaki district and later killed them.
