PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Thirty-four militants have been killed in airstrikes ny Afghan and foreign forces in central Logar province, officials claimed on Friday.
A spokesman for the 203rd Thunder Military Corps, told Pajhwok Afghan News the air raids were conducted in Pul-i-Alam, the provincial capital, and Baraki Barak and Charkh districts.
Ahmad Shakil Tasal said 34 insurgents were killed and four others wounded in the airstrikes. A Taliban pick-up full of explosives was also destroyed, he claimed.
