Nasrat Rahimi, MoI spokesman told Pajhwok Afghan News that Afghan special police forces launched an operation in the limits of eighth and fifth police districts and Bagrami district of Kabul on Tuesday night.
He said four Taliban insurgents and a Haqqani Network member were detained during the operation.
An amount of ammunition and some weapons belonged to the insurgents also seized, Rahimi said.
Militants did not comment on the regard so far.
