1st Afghan pilgrims’ flight to land in Kabul on Saturday

KABUL and Religious Affairs (MoHRA) said on Thursday.

Nasiruddin Dareez, spokesman for the MoHRA, told Pajhwok Afghan News that 30,000 afghan pilgrims participated this year Hajj virtue.

He said around 13 Afghan pilgrims from Parwan, Khost, Kunduz, Paktika, Herat, Kabul and Panjsher provinces lost their lives due to high blood-pressure, hypertension, heart attack and overcrowding.

According to Dareez, three Afghan mothers gave birth to babies during the pilgrimage this year.  The first flight from Jeddah to Kabul would start on Friday (tomorrow) and the 90 flights would complete in 26 days.

He added the pilgrims’ flights would land in Herat, Mazar-i-Shari and Kandahar airports as well.
