Al Falahi appointed as new head of IBA

KABUL (IBA), a statement said on Wednesday.

Dr. Salem Omaid, a shareholder of the Islamic Bank and executive director of the Azizi Bank, welcomed the new head and assured him of full cooperation.

Dr. Sharafuddin Ibrahimi, former acting head of the Islamic Bank, on behalf of the board of directors, talked about the current situation of the lender.

Al Falahi thanked the bank officials for reposing confidence in him and promising him their cooperation. He expressed his happiness to be in Afghanistan.

Al Falahi has worked for different banks over the past 28 years and has a vast experience in this area.

Before taking charge of the Afghanistan Islamic Bank, Al Falahi served at the Noor Islamic Bank, Dubai Islamic Bank and Qatar Islamic Bank.
