JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A landmine blast killed one civilian and injured nine others in the Khogyani district of eastern Nangarhar province on Friday morning, an official said.
The blast took place in Kaga bazaar area of the district shortly after 10am, said the governor’s spokesman, Attaullah Khogyani.
He said police and local residents evacuated the wounded persons to a local hospital and the zonal hospital in Jalalabad, the provincial capital.
