JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Two civilians have been killed and another six wounded when a mortar shell hit their home in Surkh Road district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Thursday.
Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident happened in Khosa Chini area of the district late on Wednesday night.
He said two people were killed and six others wounded in the mortar attack for which he blamed Taliban militants.
