JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Dutch Ambassador to Afghanistan, livestock and irrigation sectors during a trip to the province, an official said Thursday.
Nangarhar Governor’s spokesman Attaullah Khogyani told Pajhwok Afghan News Dutch Ambassador to Afghanistan Ernst Norman traveled to Nangarhar Tuesday and met Governor Shah Mahmood Miakhel.
Miakhel thanked the Dutch envoy for his country’s support with Afghanistan in different areas specially in agriculture and shared information with him regarding security, development and good governance in the province.
On Wednesday, the ambassador traveled to lower Kunar district and visited some agriculture projects launched by The Netherlands.
According to Khogyani, the envoy during his visit of agriculture projects assured his country’s continued support to Afghanistan in different areas.
The envoy also visited Kama district and witnessed the agriculture projects there.
