5 people killed, 20 injured in Daikundi traffic accident

NELLI (Pajhwok): Five people were killed and 20 others injured in a traffic accident in the Khader district of central Daikundi province on Friday, an official said.

Governor Spokesperson Sakina Ihsani told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident happened in the Qughnak village when a passenger coach skidded off the road and overturned.

Four women and a child were among the dead while two injured were in critical condition.

Ihsani said, recklessness of the driver, high speed and dilapidated condition of the road caused the accident.
