LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Two people have been killed and four others wounded as a result of roadside bomb blast in the Greshk district of southern Helmand province.
A security source, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast took place in Ferqa area of the district late on Friday.
He said the incident took place after a civilian rickshaw struck a landmine. A man, woman were killed and four others wounded in the blast.
Abdullah, an eyewitness, said three people, including a woman and a child, were killed and four others wounded as a result of blast.
Omar Zwak, the governor’s spokesman, confirmed the blast and said investigation was underway in this regard. He did not provide more details.
