KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): The police chief for northern Kunduz province was wounded in a suicide bombing that struck a main square in the capital of northern Kunduz province on Saturday evening.
The blast occurred in Markazi Chwak area of Kunduz City, the provincial capital at around 6:00pm today (Saturday) evening, a source told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The source further said the blast took place when security forces had gathered to defend the city from falling to the Taliban amid clashes with security forces . . .
