KABUL militants attacked parts of northern Kunduz city and harmed and damaged public and civilian facilities in an attempt to cause horror among citizens.
The Presidential Palace tweeted: “The brave Afghanistan Defense and Security forces quickly responded and repelled the attack.”
It said targeting residential areas, public facilities and using ordinary civilians as human shield further unveiled the Taliban’s vicious intentions and indicated their enmity with the people of Afghanistan
