CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): One individual has gone missing, three others wounded, 200 homes damaged and the Salang highway closed for traffic as a result of flash floods triggered by heavy rains in central Parwan province.
Saifullah Baidar, administrative chief of Jabul Seraj district, told Pajhowk Afghan News that flash flooding took place at around 4:00 in the morning due to heavy rain.
He said the floods had destroyed a bridge in Tajikan area and Salang highway was closed for traffic.
