SHARANA (Pajhwok): Taliban militants have captured six local journalists in southeastern Paktika province, officials and colleagues said Saturday.
Ahmadullah Ahmadi, a local journalist for Salam Watandar Radio, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the missing journalists had been invited by Salam Watandar Radio for a workshop.
He said that media workers were on their way to the workshop when they were stopped and arrested by Taliban insurgents in on the Paktia highway in Zurmat district.
