Rocket lands near Ministry of Defence

KABUL (Pajhwok): A rocket been landed in limits of the ninth police district of Kabul, an official said on Wednesday.

Nasrat Rahimi, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, told Pajhwok Afghan News the rocket fell close to the Ministry of Defense.

The US embassy and NATO Resolute Support mission headquarters are also located in the area where rocket landed.

The NATO media office confirmed the incident that caused no harm. This attack came as US embassy observed the 9/11 anniversary.

Thousands of people had suffered casualties in the 2001 assault involving American aircraft. Following the assault, the US invaded Afghanistan to crush Al - Qaeda.
