Zaman, Holzer confer on presidential ballot

KABUL’s Deputy Senior Civilian Representative Holly Holzer.

Briefly discussing recent developments, Zaman and Holzer conferred on aspects of NATO’s engagement in the country, according to a statement from Foreign Ministry.

Holzer assured the deputy minister of NATO’s continued commitment to Afghanistan in taking necessary security measures for the election day.

Zaman raised issues related to the NATO’s short-term training programmes and underlined the need for a transparent candidate selection.       

They exchanged views on a wide range of issues, including the latest political developments, the presidential elections, and the UN General Assembly.
